After the conclusion of a comprehensive cooperative agreement between Tsukishima Kikai and the Muroran Institute of Technology in April 2011 on activities including internships and doctoral programs for professionals, a new joint research program began in May 2017 to enhance the partnership even further.
- A wealth of technological expertise
Water purification and sewage treatment facilities, industrial plants (e.g., dryers, separators)
Initiatives to improve
- AI, machine learning, model control technologies
Joint research domains include various processes such as dehydration and drying and optimization of equipment operation, utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning based on real-world data as well as model predictive control. Efforts are also made in areas of human resource development such as internships and doctoral degrees for professionals through deployment of joint research.
