Prof. Takahashi, specializing in the field of material and solid state science, is active mainly in magnetic material research, and has recently reported many findings in the areas of the magnetic material and head of HDD (hard disc drive).
In 1999, Tsukishima Kikai supplied the ultrahigh vacuum sputter equipment to the laboratory of Prof. Takahashi and we continue to research thin film forming for magnetic material and metal oxidization.
We have received a subsidy from NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization) for manufacturing of this equipment.

In February 2001, based on the experience of installation at Tohoku Univ., we installed an ultrahigh vacuum multi sputtering equipment in the clean room at our Ichikawa R&D Center, which was jointly developed with the German company, Ardennes.
Based on the initiative and research results obtained at Tohoku University, we can test forming to meet our customers’ requests.
