Sugar Field

As a top maker of sugar manufacturing equipment, Tsukishima Kikai havs been engaged in constructing numerous sugar-manufacturing plants. We have constructed leaf-removing facilities for sugar canes as a raw material of sugar, and manufacturing facilities for white superior soft sugar, granulated sugar, demerara sugar and soft brown sugar, including power generation and water intake facilities by our total engineering capabilities. Biomass Technology

A “biomass refinery” substitutes products traditionally made from petroleum for products derived from biomass and, aside from fuel, is now coming into practical use in the fields of biodegradable plastics and materials for chemical products. For instance, it is expected of an approach to producing a variety of materials for chemical products by using improved microorganism and raw materials obtained from woody biomass. Tsukishima Kikai considers that we contributes to build a sustainable society by applying equipment manufacturing and plant engineering know-how to the field of biomass utilization.

Incineration Technology

For the demand to treat wastes efficiently and not only utilize the waste heat generated from the wastes as energy but also recover the wastes as resources, we have devoted efforts to the study of such technology for more than 40 years, and have accumulated experience. We have developed a liquid waste incineration system that restrain the emission of toxic substances such as dioxin to the limit, and a melting kiln facility that realizes the recycling of resources flexibly, and these technologies which act as the core of waste treatment have gained a high reputation both in Japan as well as abroad.

Vacuum Technology

Vacuum technology is used in various industrial fields such as information network equipment, electronic equipment, food machinery, medical apparatuses, etc. Based on our vacuum equipment manufacturing know-how which stretches over 30 years, we have made efforts to put vacuum technology to practical use and to apply it successfully. We design, propose, and manufacture vacuum equipment in response to the needs of our customers, ranging from large scale electronic beam welding machines, which is the largest class in Japan, to super high vacuum multi-sputtering apparatuses.
