The ISEP/CSEP achieves a lower running cost than the fixed bed type and is excellent in separation. You can confirm the performance with a testing machine.
Liquid Absorption Separating Machine
ISEP/CSEP is an innovative machine developed by Advanced Separation Technologies Inc. in the US (now owned by Calgon Carbon Corporation). ISEP collects usable components and removes unnecessary components from the liquid. CSEP is applicable for Chromatographic separation.
[Major applicable process]
- Purification of amino acids, desalting and decoloring of glucose and sugar
- Collection of valuables from wastewater
- Collection and purification of vitamins
- Chromatographic separation etc.
[Features]
- In comparison with the fixed bed type, Running cost is reduced
- Reduced amount of water and chemical usage (approx. 1/4)
- Reduced resin fill-up amount for Ion exchange (approx. 1/2)
- Easy operation
- Reduced installation space
- Easy maintenance due to valve usage
- High separation capacity
- High reliability
- Due to its simple structure, little time is required to maintain the equipment, and proves high reliability

As soon as the feeding process is completed, each column is washed, regenerated and reused. So it enables counter-current flow contact of the media and liquid. Thus a high degree of collection of the targeted materials and reduction of wash regenerating liquid, washing water and waste water can be achieved.
*Some treating materials may not be applicable for counter-current flow contact.

Media is distributed to multi-columns and dispersed ideally.
With the countercurrent contact of the media and liquid, a high density, high percentage collection is made possible.
*Some treating materials may not be appropriate for countercurrent flow contact.
